Biography of Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu:
Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu is an Indian model and beauty pageant winner who has crowned Miss Universe on December 13th, 2021. She is the third Indian woman to be crowned Miss Universe, making history. She is also involved in a number of philanthropic endeavors. She went on to compete in Eilat, Israel, against 79 other countries for the title of Miss Universe 2021.
She was born on March 3, 2000, in the village of Kohali in the district of Gurdaspur, Punjab, and raised in Chandigarh. Her father, Pritampal Singh Sandhu, is a real estate developer, and her mother, Rabinder Kaur Sandhu, is a gynecologist. She grew up in a Jat Sikh family.
She completed her schooling at Shivalik Public School and then went on to join Post Graduate Government College for girls, both in Chandigarh.
Sandhu is fluent in Hindi – and English in addition to her mother tongue Punjabi. She is about 5’9. (feet inches) tall.
Harnaaz began competing in pageantry as a teenager, winning titles such as Miss Chandigarh 2017 and Miss Max Emerging Star India 2018. Moreover, she was also crowned Femina Miss India Punjab 2019 as well as Miss Diva 2021.
